Well, since you asked. Rachel is an illustrator, animator, and experimenter based in Philadelphia. Her practice is always growing and changing, like a feral beast that demands to be fed. There is a solid foundation, however, in drawing and illustration. There you will find narrative art and character designs of a playful nature. Some may say her work is reminiscent of the great artistic feats of our time, such as Rugrats or Dr. Seuss.

From its foundation in illustration her practice has branched off into the worlds of animation and performance art. Her courageous endeavor into animation started with stop motion, and has expanded into 2D works, bringing her lively and twisted characters to life. She also fabricates masks and other wearables, creating a portal through which she can become the very characters she draws as a means of escapism (very meta).
